Former Big Boss contestant Ajaz Khan who is known as controversy's favourite child, was arrested for a controversial tick-tock video by the Mumbai police.
The video was reportedly tagged as communal in nature, which ultimately led to his arrest.
According to the report, Ajaz had shared a video on tick-tock
mocking Mumbai police for filing fir are against tick-tock celebrities in the last couple of weeks for posting threatening an insightful video as revenge for Tabrez Ansari's death.
The Mumbai police have reportedly tagged the video as communal in nature, which ultimately led to Ajaz khans arrest.
A senior officer from the Mumbai Crime branch told that they had arrested Ajaz khan and will be produced before the court shortly.
A spokesperson Mumbai police said that the cyber police
had received several complaints along with fewvideos which had gone viral on social media.
The objectional content was mainly promoting enmity between different groups on the grounds of religion etc. and create hatred among people at large, as confirmed by an official.
After investigations, Ajaz was arrested, and further probe is underway in the matter.
Ajaz has been charged under several sections of the Indian Penal Code and IT at section 67 which can attract a jail term of five years or a fine of rupees 5 lakhs.
This is not Ajaz's first brush with the law, before this in October 2018 anti-narcotics cell had arrested ages from a hotel in Mumbai for allegedly possessing banned psychoactive drugs.

Khan was produced before the washi court which remanded him in police custody adding further investigations to trace
his other accomplices.
Also in 2016 he was arrested and released on bail on charges of sending lewd messages and obscene pictures to a beautician who had offered him a business project proposal.
Khan participated in the seventh season of Bigg Boss; later he also appeared on Comedy night Bachao, box cricket leak and Comedy nights with Kapil, he has also worked in big-budget regional films like Rakta Charitra Dookudu and temper.
The Ninth season of very popular dance reality show Nach Baliye is all set to start from July 20.
This time the show is being produced by superstar Salman Khan.

Now exclusive reports suggests that Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, winner of the last season along with the husband Vivek Dahiya, are going to host the grand premiere for the show. Yeah, you read it right!
A source close to them informs, "The makers have locked Divyanka Tripathi to host the first episode i.e. the grand premiere of Nach Baliye. Whether Vivek willbe a part of it or not is yet to be perceived, but the jodis along and the host will probably be shooting for the premiere episode on 2nd july in Mumbai."
As we have already seen Divyanka's prowess as a host in 'The Voice'. This indeed is great news.
