Big Spat Between Javed Akhtar And Shekhar Kapoor

Veteran writer Javed Akhtar maker has got into a twitter spat with the film Shekhar Kapoor after the director wrote in a tweet that he has a fear of intellectuals.

Akhtar who is known for voicing his views unabashedly on social media reacted very strongly to Shekhar Kapoor's tweet and told him to visit a psychiatrist and that there is no shame in it.

Kapoor recently tweeted that he started his life as a refugee of partition and his parents did everything to make a life for their kids, but he has always been in fear of the intellectuals and find their embrace as a bite of the snake.

The director also added that he still feels like a refugee.

However, Shekhar's tweet did not go down well with Akhtar; he asked Shekhar to stop his melodrama.

In a series of replies to the post, Akhtar asked Kapor if he finds the embrace of veteran intellectuals like Shyam Benegal, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Ram Chandra Guha like a snake bite.

Jawed Akhtar also added that the director Shekhar Kapoor is not well and needs help, he suggested Kapoor to meet a good psychiatrist and that there is no shame in it.

Akhtar continued his backlash by asking Shekhar that "If India makes him feel like a refugee, then does he feel like a non-refugee in Pakistan."

He also called Shekhar Kapoor a poor rich but a lonely guy and told him to cut his melodrama.

Kapoor, who has Indian films like 'Masoom' 'Bandit Queen' and international projects like 'Elizabeth' to his credit, clarified his tweet by sharing what he meant by a refugee.

Kapoor's tweet came after multiple Bollywood celebrities came after raising their voice against mob lynching by writing a letter to Modi.

The letter expressed grave concern over the growing trend of lynching by a mob in this country.

They also demanded non-bailable punishment for those found guilty of the crime.

Talking about the issue Kapoor had said Modi had taken power away from the feudal class and handed it to the people and this was the first democratic revolution.

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel
Marvel came up with their first female-led superhero movie with Captain Marvel, earlier this year, and the good news is that it was pretty impressive.
Unfortunately, however, it's not entirely perfect, and there are some aspects of the movie that are forced to provoke a little head-scratching.
Here is the list of all dumb things people ignored in Captain Marvel.
The first Thor movie makes a point of describing Arthur Clarke's Third Law: that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
The Kree falls right in line with that rule.
As a futuristic space-race, the Kree have all sorts of magical technology at their disposal, most of which are ahead of anything Earth's soldiers could ever dream of using.
But the one thing they don't seem to have down is a reliable walkie-talkie system.
During the opening mission, a whole lot of Skrull ambushing goes down when Carol's team can't get their darned cell phone…
