Bollywood Actress Koena Mitra Jailed For Six Months

Actress Koena Mitra who claimed to fame with the superhit song 'Saki Saki' from the film Musafir has been sentenced to a six months jail term in a cheque bouncing case.

However, the actress denied all such reports adding, that she will challenge the order in a higher court
The complaint was initially filed in a metropolitan magistrate's court by model Poonam Sethi and now Koena Mitra is directed by the court to pay rupees 4.64 lakhs that includes an interest of rupees 1.64 lakhs.

This case dates back to the year 2013 when a cheque
bounced after lack of funds.

Apparently, Koena Mitra borrowed a sum of 22 lakhs in the form  of a loan from Poonam Sethi.

But at the time of the loan's repayment Koena Mitra's cheque of rupees, three lakhs had bounced.
This led to Poonam Sethi filing a court case against Koena Mitra.

At the time of the court's hearing, koena argued that Poonam Sethi was not financially sound enough to lend money to her and that she has stolen her cheques.

But apparently, the magistrate dismissed Koena's argument which included her claim that Sethi could not afford to lend her rupees 22 lakh.

As per reports, Koena said in her defence that she had been framed in this matter, she further said that during the court's final arguments her lawyer could not be present hence her side of the statement was not heard.

The actress also adds that the court gave the verdict without hearing her side of the story and that she will appeal this judgement in the higher court for which her lawyers are working on.

Mitra has acted in films like 'Musafir', 'Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina' and 'Apna Sapna Money Money.'

She was recently in the news for criticising the remake version of her famous song 'Saki Saki' in John Abraham's upcoming film 'Batla House' where famous dancer Nora Fatehi is seen dancing to the tunes.

In the past, koena was also criticised for undergoing a cosmetic surgery which went wrong.

The actress has confessed that the damage to her face caused significant damage to her career and it took her few more corrective surgeries to get things right.

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel
Marvel came up with their first female-led superhero movie with Captain Marvel, earlier this year, and the good news is that it was pretty impressive.
Unfortunately, however, it's not entirely perfect, and there are some aspects of the movie that are forced to provoke a little head-scratching.
Here is the list of all dumb things people ignored in Captain Marvel.
The first Thor movie makes a point of describing Arthur Clarke's Third Law: that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
The Kree falls right in line with that rule.
As a futuristic space-race, the Kree have all sorts of magical technology at their disposal, most of which are ahead of anything Earth's soldiers could ever dream of using.
But the one thing they don't seem to have down is a reliable walkie-talkie system.
During the opening mission, a whole lot of Skrull ambushing goes down when Carol's team can't get their darned cell phone…
