Shahid Kapoor Reacts On Kabir Singh

Kabir Singh created a furore on-screen and off-screen as well.

The film managed to win the hearts of the audience but was in trouble with the critics for many reasons.

It has been over a month since the film released, but Kabir Singh is still being washed over and over again.

In fact, it has managed to become the biggest blockbuster of 2019.

However, despite its immense success, the film's main character has been criticized time and again for encouraging toxic masculinity.

in a recent interview, the lead actor Shahid Kapoor expressed his happiness on the success of the film and also spoke about the criticism coming his way

The 38-year-old actor mentioned that the success over the past five weeks felt surreal to him and it was still sinking in.

When Shahid was questioned about playing such flawed character of Kabir Singh, he mentioned that he has never been afraid of playing dark characters like Kabir Singh or Tommy Singh since in real life he can never be those guys.

"You remember Tommy Singh, he does much worse things than Kabir Singh does actually in understanding I mean he's singing a song in his introduction you know about what if I start justifying characters I can't be an actor, I have to play roles for their good and for their bad I have to represent them honestly that's what acting is about otherwise I'm just you know I just want people to like me that's what stardom is about acting is about being honest letting people dislike you sometimes it's okay it's important."

Also, Shahid tried to explain that the audience is now viewing films for what they are and that is why Kabir Singh worked.

The actor shared that just because the character is flawed didn't mean that people didn't enjoy the film.

Shahid cited the example of a scene from Sanju to explain it he said that Sanju had a scene where the guy was sitting in front of his wife and see that he had slept with 300 women, but no one picked on it the way the event after Kabir Singh

He added that that doesn't mean people didn't enjoy Sanju.

Shahid said that he loved the film because he watched it for the character's life and not to pinpoint faults.

Meanwhile, the star is basking in the success of the film and has been speaking to the media about what he feels about the success coming his way.

Kabir Singh was held by Sandeep vanga who also directed Arjuna Reddy starring Vijay DevaraKonda the film's music and the story has been loved, and it still remains one of the biggest successes of 2019.

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel

Dumb Things People Ignored In Captain Marvel
Marvel came up with their first female-led superhero movie with Captain Marvel, earlier this year, and the good news is that it was pretty impressive.
Unfortunately, however, it's not entirely perfect, and there are some aspects of the movie that are forced to provoke a little head-scratching.
Here is the list of all dumb things people ignored in Captain Marvel.
The first Thor movie makes a point of describing Arthur Clarke's Third Law: that any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.
The Kree falls right in line with that rule.
As a futuristic space-race, the Kree have all sorts of magical technology at their disposal, most of which are ahead of anything Earth's soldiers could ever dream of using.
But the one thing they don't seem to have down is a reliable walkie-talkie system.
During the opening mission, a whole lot of Skrull ambushing goes down when Carol's team can't get their darned cell phone…
